Osmosis Brings Exciting New Technology to Skincare Serums

We have recently partnered with an elite lab to bring remarkable state of the art technology. Exciting improvements to the treatment serums include

A new more potent version of retinaldehyde
Improved liposomal delivery

The stabilized retinaldehyde is a patent-pending, revolutionary form of Vitamin A that will not degrade. No other retinol on the market has this kind of potency to stimulate collagen while maintaining stability and potency.

Our liposome delivery has been a key part of our story and results since we began. In our formulating process, we now have the ability to create a more uniform particle size enabling our active ingredients to better penetrate to the dermis. In addition to the new retinaldehyde and enhanced delivery, each treatment serum now has more ingredients specifically targeting the skin condition the serum was designed to treat. You may also notice the Vitamin A serums are yellow in color and are a delight to the senses. The net result of our new changes are products that are more elegant, stable, amazingly scented, and higher performing.

Synthe-6

Every treatment serum except Clarify will contain a new peptide called Synthe-6. This ingredient is designed to restore the health of the dermal-epidermal junction which also creates improved structural rigidity of the epidermis and plumping of fine lines while the other actives work on thickening the dermis.

Asiaticoside

We have added Asiaticoside to several serums (Anti-Aging / Rosacea) which is proven to increase collagen production by 89% and improve fibroblast migration by 60% while also acting as a powerful anti-inflammatory that directly protects collagen from UVB.

SymWhite

Enlighten is dramatically improving! First, we are excited to announce that it is white! Secondly, by using a new lightener called SymWhite, we have improved it's performance. SymWhite is one of the best performing tyrosinase inhibitors on the market while also being an anti-oxidant. Additionally, it is non-toxic to the melanocyte.

Replenish

Replenish has new antioxidants including vitamins D, B5, B6, astazanthin (it's back) and thiotane. This formula has a new delicious scent and has been put through special processing to make all these antioxidants smaller and more uniform for better penetration and performance. You will find Synthe-6 has also been added so it can continue to be a stand-alone aging product for the very sensitive skin types.

Shelter

Shelter has been completely reformulated and is now SPF 30. What makes this formula so exciting are the added antioxidants that allow us to reduce the amount of zinc. The end result is a lighter, more moisturizing, delicious-smelling sunblock moisturizer.

Refresh PM

Refresh PM has been restored to a more gentle, hydrating plumper around the eyes. It is also great for lips and can be added to Quench to make it a heavy moisturizer. It is more cosmetically elegant and less irritating due to the removal of retinaldehyde. It now comes in a tube for a more precise delivery.

Why did we merge Mend and Calm?

According to independent research, rosacea skin benefits from retinaldehyde greatly. That being said, Osmosis' Calm utilizes several active botanicals designed to calm, stimulate, repair, and rejuvenate the skin. By using higher doses of retinaldehyde, many users limit how much of he serum they can apply without compromising the barrier with peeling, irritation, etc. We have merged Mend and Calm because we want to make sure that the end-user gets a balanced assortment of beneficial ingredients with each application. If/When the client can increase the amount of actives in their regimen, they will better tolerate Catalyst and StemFactor if they have no more than the therapeutic dose of retinaldehyde in their skin. Remember that adding Skin Nutrition powder to their regimen also dramatically improves their overall outcome and Digestive Health and Clear Skin will help heal the cause of rosacea for many clients as well.

Why did we remove Boost?

While retinaldehyde is a remarkable anti-aging ingredient, age reversal requires that it be used in combination with a host of other active botanicals for a balanced approach to collagen/elastin stimulation and immune repair. By using too much retinaldehyde, we limit the use of other ingredients in our serums because people often use fewer pumps. Some people can tolerate high levels of retinaldehyde and for those exceptions the best solution is to use 3-4 pumps of Renew instead of 2. Our new, stabilized retinaldehyde is more potent and therefore, we felt that the use of Boost was not necessary. For now, we think it is best to increase the use of the new enhanced Renew.
